Looking for a great way to celebrate St. Patty's Day? I have special hours this Saturday, March 17 at Cherry Street Restaurant and Bar. I'll be starting at 5 pm this week, since it's going to get really crazy there by my normal shift time. But Cherry Street is offering special Irish fare on the menu all day long. Call them for details: 309-344-4480.
The following week, March 24, we'll be starting my new spring/ summer hours of 7:30 to 10:00 pm, most every Saturday evening.
Thoughts on event planning, entertainment, marketing, self improvement, peak performance, magic, and any related or unrelated topic.

Tips on Corporate Events
Just came across this short article in a British newspaper on tips for planning a successful client hospitality event. It's fairly simple, but has a couple good ideas. It's titled: TIPS FOR ORGANISING A TOP CORPORATE EVENT. Of course, I'd also add to their tips, the idea of finding outstanding entertainment to ensure your clients have an excellent time!

Workshop a Big Success!
A huge "Thank you!" to all who attended my Marketing and PR for Creative Professionals workshop at the Peoria Art Guild yesterday. It was a big success, and I got lots of positive feedback from participants. And a very special thanks to Suzette Boulais of ArtsPartners of Central Illinois in helping to make the whole thing happen, as well as Jenny Parkhurst at the Art Guild for arranging for us to hold it there!
Here's a shot of me during my talk, compliments of Suzette:

Tips for Corporate Event Planners
Here's an article for my corporate clients, with a somewhat different slant on event planning. It's about what corporate planners can learn from wedding planners. Interesting perspective that may spur a few good ideas. Here's the ARTICLE.

A Big Thank You...
I just wanted to thank everyone who attended my ART of Magic show at Cherry Street Restaurant and Bar in Galesburg on Saturday night. We had a terrific time together and I was warmed by all your kind comments on my performance. IT was a nearly sold out show, and the audience couldn't have been better. Thanks to all for making it a tremendous evening. Also a huge thank you to Stan and Lou and their staff at Cherry Street. They made things go smoothly, in spite of the fact that it was an incredibly busy night at the restaurant.
And make sure you stop by at one of my normal Saturday evening appearances at Cherry Street to experience my tableside close up magic.

A Unique Holiday Gift Idea...
Hope you had a great Thanksgiving. And though Thanksgiving is past, I do want to express my gratitude for the support of my clients, fans, and friends this past year. Your support and business allows me to continue doing what I love!
And I'm really excited to announce an event that's coming up in the New Year. I'll be presenting a special "nightclub" version of my one man stage show, The ART of Magic on Saturday, January 21 at Cherry Street Restaurant and Bar in Galesburg.
If you've never experienced my award winning stage performance, this is a rare opportunity to have an "unforgettable evening of magic, mystery, music, mirth, and fun sure to bend your mind, warm your heart, and tickle your funny bone." And if you have seen it before, you know this is not to be missed! I don't perform this show at a venue that's open to the public all that often, so this is a real treat for magic lovers.
A Terrific Holiday Gift...
And YES! Tickets to this show make an absolutely fabulous and unique gift for that "hard to buy for" person on your holiday list. Why not give the gift of magic?
To learn more, or order tickets, GO HERE NOW!
I've been having a blast doing my tableside close up magic at Cherry Street on Saturday nights (stop by some evening if you want to see my close up magic), and I'm really looking forward to presenting my stage show in this fun venue.
And if Bartonville is closer to home, don't forget I'll be there next week on December 7, for my monthly appearance at Tyroni's.
Hope to see you soon.

Got Fruit?
Just a quick note that my Rotary Club here in Canton is currently having their annual fruit sale fundraiser. We're selling boxes of citrus fruit: oranges, grapefruit, or a mix of oranges, grapefruit, and tangelos. If you're in the local area, and would like to order some great fruit, send me an email, or give me a call at 309-647-3692 for details.
