Just a reminder that I'll be performing at the GirlsEmpo Fundraiser this weekend to benefit the work to empower rural, low-income girls in Guatemala. It will take place during International Girls' Day at Prairie Center of the Arts (located in the Peoria Warehouse District at 1506 SW Washington St. in Peoria) from 6 - 9 pm. Celebrate all girls and help raise funds for education and girls' clubs for children living in poverty in Guatemala. A silent auction of artwork donated by local artists, gift baskets and more will take place also plus baskets and purses handcrafted by Guatemalan artisan women will be available for sale. It's almost that time of month again... this Wednesday is the first of October, and that means Tyroni's in Bartonville.  I'll be there from 5:30 to 8:00 PM.

Coming up on Saturday, October 11, I'll be part of the festivities at the GirlsEmpo Fall Fundraiser at the Prairie Center of the Arts, benefiting their work to empower rural girls living in poverty in Guatemala.  (More on this as it gets closer.)
